Pain 101

This was the first card I made for this set. I was having a lot of fun referencing the various gang members and capturing their wacky proportions and expressions.
It really takes a lot of energy to focus on that sorta of expressive story telling rather than simply rolling with my 'default', but it's conscious choices like that which make artworks so much more memorable for me.
Oh also I like the solution here for avoiding blood and gore; just make it look like explosions of spraypaint!
