Ghibli Jazz

My brother arranged a line-up of jazz fusion Ghibli covers that I was lucky enough to experience when he last performed in London.
I made this poster for his recent performance in Exeter!

It was a very fun idea to figure out with him; specifically deciding which of our beloved characters fit each member of the band best. The more I think about them, the more perfectly they fit. My only regret is not finding a good composition to allow Patsu to play the trumpet, but the chibi and chu Totoros came to rescue for me.
A fun little tid-bit that a commenter on insta reminded me of is that as per the books, Howl is totally musically inept, yet carries around a guitar anyway just to appear more interesting. What a guy.

Anyway, hope you like the poster, the concert sold out and was a massive success! I'm very proud.
