It's always fun to mix up the style I work in, it feels like I will always underestimate just how long it takes to create clean lineart like this; perhaps someday I will learn my lesson! Anyway, the decision to do so came from the contest prompt. Thin and elegant lineart like this has always carried the light and airy vibe with it, so it felt like the perfect choice. I wanted the scene to be very bright, and defined linework can help provide stronger contrast without the need for much darker silhouettes.
